Cylinders used in machine building, handling systems and fixture design usually need additional guiding; TOSS pneumatic actuators combine the cylinder and a play-free precision guide in one compact module, so designers no longer have to assemble and align separate guide rails.

• Integrated play-free precision guides — no external guiding required

• Two guide versions: smooth linear ball guide (type B) and continuous ball guide (type C) for different load and stroke requirements

• Modular construction: the cylinder is built into the main body and directly coupled to the moving upper part for high rigidity in a compact envelope

• Flexible mounting: tapped holes on the bottom; air ports at the rear, front or side depending on the version, and on both front and side of the combination mounting plate

• Tapped holes on top and front faces for direct tool and fixture attachment

Modular System

Actuator modules can be stacked and combined into multi-axis units for moving, clamping and lifting motions, shortening design and assembly time and simplifying later maintenance or reconfiguration.

Hand-Operated Units

In addition to the pneumatic range, hand-operated units with linear ball guides or slides are available for set-up, positioning and measuring tasks that call for manual fine adjustment.
